About the Job
Echo Delta is looking for a well-organized and outgoing Senior Account Manager to join our nationally-recognized team, with 7-10 years experience within an agency or within a higher ed institution’s marketing or admissions team. You would be responsible for daily contact between the agency and multiple clients. You’ll work closely with many other disciplines (creative, project management, media, strategy, consulting) on the Echo Delta team to launch marketing initiatives with an emphasis on brand positioning, marketing campaign development, lead generation, website development, media placement and reporting / ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster strong, collaborative client relationships based on mutual respect, a thorough understanding of the client’s business.
- Campaigns will include (but are not limited to); Search, Display, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Lead all client meetings and facilitate effective and collegial communication between client and agency teams.
- Contribute to both client-facing and internal discussions on both overall strategy and the executional details of individual pieces of work.
- Ensure you’re fully aware of the context, timing, and next steps for each of your clients’ projects.
- Know your clients’ needs, priorities, and personal preferences well enough to reliably advocate for them during internal meetings.
- Persuasively advocate your team’s recommendations during client-facing meetings.
- Effectively manage communications with diverse personality types and backgrounds.
- Collaborate with project managers to set appropriate priorities and ensure the agency is meeting its deadlines and commitments.
- Review, validate and sign off on client billing.
- Proactively identify and intake opportunities to grow client relationships
- Participate in new business presentations.
- Regularly reading relevant trade publications to keep up to date on the state of the industry.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 7-10 years relevant work experience (not entry-level).
- Experience in agency or higher education in-house teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented problem-solver with limited supervision.
- Understanding of the creative development process, media channels, and managing scope.
- Understanding of higher education marketing and best practices in admissions/enrollment.
- Confident presenter to executive-level audiences.
- Excellent business, writing, interpersonal, and clear communication skills.

Work Style
We operate in a hybrid/remote work environment. Our physical office is based in Winter Haven, Florida (halfway between Tampa and Orlando), and the office is available to use if you would like it. About half of our team is in the Central Florida area, but that is not a requirement for this role. We have several employees that are fully remote, although preference would be given to applicants in Eastern and Central time zones. Some travel (approximately 10%) will be required for this role, either to our office in Florida or to client campuses.
